What the valley actually charges, what drives the number up or down, and where the cheap option quietly costs more than the expensive one.
Car storage pricing in Las Vegas spans roughly an order of magnitude, and almost nobody publishes a rate card. This guide lays out the real tiers, what separates them, and the specific line items that move a quote. REVCity Auto Storage is at 7185 Bermuda Rd, Las Vegas NV 89119 — fully enclosed, 50–70°F, 40–50% humidity, a BendPak four-post lift at every space. Storage in the valley sorts into four fairly clean bands. The prices below are the ranges we see quoted across Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas as of the 2026 season. Individual facilities vary, and space size drives a lot of the spread inside each band.
The jump that changes outcomes is not outdoor-to-indoor. It is indoor-to-climate-controlled. A standard self-storage unit removes UV but leaves your car sitting in 110°F-plus air for five months. Heat and humidity are what age rubber, leather, fluids and batteries — and neither is addressed by four walls and a roll-up door. We break the distinction down in climate controlled vs temperature controlled.
Two owners can get quotes $400 apart at the same facility. Here is what accounts for the gap.
The cheap tier is only cheap while the car is sitting there. The bill arrives later, in the service bay. These are the corrections we see most often on vehicles coming out of uncooled Las Vegas storage.
Run the arithmetic once. The gap between a $200/month indoor unit and a $600/month climate-controlled space is $4,800 a year. A single battery, one set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2s, and a fuel system cleanup clears that in under two years — and none of those are the expensive failures. The dashboard and the paint are.
These onset windows are shorter here than almost anywhere. The valley runs 115°F peaks, cabin temperatures of 160–190°F in direct sun, a UV index of 10–12 from May through September, and a July–September monsoon that swings humidity from single digits to condensing in an afternoon. Battery degradation alone roughly doubles for every 15°F increase. Full mechanism in Las Vegas heat damage.
The snowbird — six months, one sedan or convertible. Leaves in April, returns in October, so the car sits through the entire heat season. Climate-controlled at the lower end of the specialty band, with battery maintenance and a fuel stabilizer treatment: roughly $2,000–$3,600 for the season. Skipping to a basic indoor unit saves about $1,500 and reliably buys a dead battery, a set of flat spots, and a rough-running engine on return. Detail in our snowbird storage guide.
The collector — twelve months, three cars, one of them numbers-matching. Three lift spaces on a twelve-month term, quarterly start-and-move cycles, tender on each. Expect $12,000–$26,000 a year depending on footprint and services. Against that: the condition tier on the numbers-matching car alone is worth six figures. This is the case where the storage line is trivially justified. See classic car storage in Las Vegas.
The event owner — three weeks around SEMA or a Barrett-Jackson consignment. Short-term specialty storage with secure receiving and staged retrieval. Typically billed at a weekly or prorated monthly rate with a receiving fee, landing in the $400–$1,200 range for the stay. The value here is not preservation — it is a secure, climate-stable, insured place to stage a car in a week when every hotel garage in the valley is full. See short-term car storage.
Storage quotes are hard to compare because facilities bundle differently. Ask these six questions and the comparison collapses to a real number.
One more, and it is the one most people skip: ask what happens during a monsoon event. The valley’s July–September storms flood washes and low-lying lots with very little warning. Ground-level outdoor and drive-up storage in the wrong location is a real risk, not a theoretical one. See storing a car during Las Vegas monsoon flooding.
REVCity sits on Bermuda Road between the airport and the resort corridor — roughly seven minutes from Harry Reid International and twelve from the Strip, which keeps drop-off and pickup simple whether you are flying out for the summer or staging a car for an event.

Outdoor lots run roughly $75–$250 a month, covered outdoor $120–$300, basic indoor units $150–$400, and climate-controlled specialty storage $300–$900 or more depending on vehicle footprint, lift access, term length, and bundled services. Oversized vehicles and month-to-month terms sit at the top of each band.
Because it is actively defending an environment rather than providing a space. Holding 50–70°F and 40–50% humidity through a Las Vegas summer means continuous conditioning load, dehumidification, monitoring, and backup power. A basic indoor unit has none of those costs and, in July, reaches 100–125°F inside.
Usually not. If the vehicle is worth under roughly $40,000 and has no collector provenance, the condition-tier spread will not return the premium. It becomes clearly worthwhile on six-figure vehicles, original-paint or numbers-matching cars, and any vehicle sitting more than 60 consecutive days through a Las Vegas summer.
Generally yes. Six- and twelve-month commitments commonly run 10–20% below the month-to-month rate, because the facility gains occupancy certainty. If you already know the car is sitting for a season, quoting it as a term rather than open-ended is the easiest saving available.
A fully enclosed, UV-free, 24/7 monitored gated facility held at 50–70°F and 40–50% relative humidity, with a dedicated BendPak four-post lift at every space so the suspension is unloaded and the tires are off the slab. Basic indoor and outdoor rates are modestly lower in outlying areas, largely tracking land cost. Climate-controlled specialty rates do not vary much across the valley, because the cost driver is conditioning load rather than real estate — and the conditioning load is the same in Henderson as it is on Bermuda Road.
