Regency Towers was one of the first true high-rise condominiums in Las Vegas — twenty-seven storeys and 218 residences, completed in 1974 and built by Moe Dalitz of Desert Inn and Stardust fame. Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley both spent time in the building. Two miles east of the Strip and set inside the Las Vegas Country Club, it is still one of the best addresses in the valley.
The parking, however, is exactly as old as the building. Regency’s on-site garage and valet arrangement was designed in an era when a resident owned one sedan and wanted it brought round to the door. It works well for that. It was never designed to hold a Daytona, a 911 that comes out twice a season, or a car with a value that would make the average valet driver nervous.
That is the whole gap we exist to close. You keep the address and the amenities. The car goes somewhere purpose-built.
None of this is a criticism of the building’s staff. A valet garage is a shared, high-traffic operation, and shared high-traffic operations have characteristics that a stored vehicle does not tolerate well.
Every retrieval means a cold start, a shift into gear, and a run up a ramp by a driver who has thirty seconds to get it done. On a manual, a dry-sump car, or anything with a stiff clutch, that is a bad thirty seconds repeated indefinitely.
Cars get shuffled to reach other cars. A vehicle you intended to leave untouched for three months may be moved a dozen times, each move a fresh opportunity for a door edge, a column, or a bumper corner.

Residents heading to the airport often leave the car with us on the way out and collect it on the way back in, which removes long-term airport parking from the equation entirely.
